HELLO there!The SMU Touch Team will be organising a beach touch tournament, smuTOUCHDOWN! on 27th April 2008 (Sunday), at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. This year, we have 3 categories: the U20 Girls, Women's Open as well as Mixed Open cats. We will be playing a fun touch 3v2 format with 6 in a team (min of 2 females in the Mixed Open cat). Team registration is $60 and there will be attractive prizes for top teams and exciting goodies for everyone to bring home! nEbO is one of our sponsors and they have generously offered additional prizes for nEbo-ians, that is, if any of those who achieve top 3 placing in each category are nEbO members or sign up on that day, they will receive attractive additional prizes. All are encouraged to sign up as nEbo members during this event as there will be a special event registration price for full time students below the age of 25. Privileges include $6 weekday and $8 weekend movie tickets, $2.50 bowling games to name a few.. Apart from playing touch, some of you might be interested in "sumo wrestling, laser tag, kayaking, bungee trampoline" (just to name a few activities that will also be held at the beach on that day). Another event called VOLAR! (organised by an SMU adventure club) will also be adding to the fun factor on 27th April! We hope to see you at smuTOUCHDOWN!
